It's a Boy!

Well, we had our 20 week ultrasound today! And Baby Campbell is officially a boy! There is no mistake, as we saw the little wiener! haha. The ultrasound went great. It was a little long, since the tech was newer and a little on the slow side, but that was just more time to see our little guy! He was moving all around in my belly. They said that everything looked great! I am just so excited to actually find out what we are having. I was driving myself nuts trying to decide if it was a boy or girl. Now, on to buy tons of little boy stuff! I've been working on my registry for my shower, which my amazing girlfriends are throwing me during our visit back to Ohio. I can't wait! I feel so blessed to have a healthy baby boy growing inside me. It's such a great feeling, especially since I can actually feel him now! Kicking away at my tummy ALL DAY LONG! But ya know, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I am so in love with our little guy already, I can't wait until August so he can finally grace us with his presence! So hurry up Logan! (btw, that's going to be his name :) )

17 Weeks

On Monday, I was 17 weeks! I feel like the weeks are starting to fly by, and pretty soon it's going to be time for me to give birth to this little one! I had a doctors appt. last week and everything went great! It was just a quick appt, where they listen to the heartbeat and check my vital signs. My doc said the heartbeat sounded great and that I could make my appt. for my 20 week ultrasound! So, on April 5th, we get to find out if baby Campbell is going to be a girl or a boy! I am so beyond excited! I want to know now! I think I have an idea of what it will be, but I could be wrong! 

On other news, I bought my plane ticket to Ohio! I will be home for a month and I CANNOT WAIT! It's been almost a year since being over in Okinawa, and that is just entirely too long to be away from my family and friends. I am going to start making plans for when I'm home, and making a list of places I want to eat! :) My best friends are throwing me a baby shower, so I can't wait for that! I just want to be back in the comfort of my people. 

That's about all for now. Not much else going on, besides the disaster in mainland Japan. Please keep all of those affected by it in your prayers. I feel very lucky and blessed that Okinawa was not affected, however many people here have relatives and family in mainland. Also, a ton of our guys from my husbands unit are there doing search and rescue missions, so please, say a prayer for their safety. Until next time.. 

15 Weeks

Well, I don't have much to write. Nothing fun has been going on lately. I just wanted to post a picture of my growing baby bump! I'm now 15 weeks and 3 days prego! 

Oh, and my birthday is Saturday! Woo hoo! I'll be the big 25! This is the first birthday spent away from my family, so it might be a rough one.. especially with all the emotions going on. Hopefully I have more to blog about in a few days! My life is consumed by laziness these days! 

14 Weeks

Welp, I'm 14 weeks 3 days today! I thought I would take a belly pic because I feel like it's starting to grow tremendously and I want to see progress from week to week! I have been feeling pretty good lately. I still wake up with nausea almost every morning, but the medicine helps and it's usually gone for a few hours out of the day. I'm starting to get my appetite back and food has never tasted better! haha. I crave a ton of spicy and saucy foods, like tacos and BBQ. I'm in my 2nd trimester now, I only have 25 weeks or 180 days left until my due date! It sounds like a long time, but these first 14 weeks have gone by really fast to me! I'm hoping we can find out the sex soon, so we can start decorating the nursery and buying baby stuff for the appropriate gender!

My mommy sent me a few boxes that I got in the mail today! One had maternity clothes in it and the other had baby stuff! This is the first baby stuff I have got, since we haven't bought any, and it was pretty surreal to open the box and see all this stuff! I don't think it's completely hit me that in just a few short months, we will have a little one of our own to fill these outfits! Since we don't know the gender, they are for either a boy or girl, but they are so flippin cute and I love them! And my mommy!
